The annual Gothenburg Horse Show in the Scandinavium Arena was held for the first time in the spring 1977. Since the start almost 1.9 million visitors have seen the world stars competing in Gothenburg in both showjumping and dressage. Last year Gothenburg was the stage of the FEI Rolex World Cup final and the historical particapation of a Finn in the final - Mikael Forstén!

Saturday: Mikael and Evli Nandele 4th in a tough Gothenburg Grand Prix!

Both Mikael and Noora jumps in Gothenburg. Mikael jumps with Isaac du Jonquet, Evli Nandele and Winnie PV, Noora with Vasco and Quinault.

Mikael and Evli Nanele were a fabulous fourth in a challenging, big and technical Gothenburg Grand Prix on Saturday. Mikael did a really good first round with the fine mare and was also fast in the jump-off, loosing only about a second to the winner. Noora told they are really proud and at ease with the mare, which received plenty compliments also from fellow riders.

In the earlier class on Saturday, the Accumulator with Joker, Mikael and Winnie had unfortunately a rail down on the last Joker fence. Noora’s Quino and Vasco didn’t jump on Saturday. Noora told her Vasco have been really good in Gothenburg. On Thursday she did an unhurried 0/0 round on 1m40 level, where Vasco felt a bit tense and hot. On Friday the gelding was already much better and relaxed, doing a very nice round with one unfortunate rail down, which Noora took all to herself. Noora told she tried to be fast in the turn to vertical number 6 due to a tight time allowed, but did a small mistake by letting the horse fall into the curve, which again led to a small error on the fence. Noora was also at ease regarding Quino, which did a splendid and sharp round on Friday with an unlucky last rail down, to which the rider thought she came a little too fast to. Mikael and Nande started their job in this same class, doing only a slow and unhurried clean round.

On Sunday Noora jumps Quino in the 1m50 speed class and later in the World Cup with Vasco, where also Mikael jumps with Isaac.
