Mikael has more or less secured a place in the Las Vegas finals and is therefore is giving Isaac an easier regime, by leaving this fabulous at home. In Vigo Mikael jumps with Winnie, Casandra Z and Evli Nandele - this making the first show in a long time. Saturday: Evli Nandele placed again, Casandra did a good effort in the World Cup.
ReportFridayIt’s a sunny Vigo that welcomed our team and gave apparently also a good start to Evli Nandele’s comeback. Mikael and Nandele placed in the first class, which went off at 1m45 level ridden in two phases. An energetic mare jumped both phases clear and did good jumps throughout the course. Mikael was very at ease with the mare and jumps another class with Nande on Saturday, before both Nandele and Winnie leaves for the road back home and the Gothenburg show. In Friday eve’s main class, on this 1m50 level still a fairly green Casandra Z did a nice round with Miakel, which according to Noora, as well could have been clean or only a 4-faulter. The course started really well, but the mare unfortunately erred on the oxer nr 10, which was approached on a bending line after a slightly long 4 strides 8-9 distance. Casandra did well on the 8-9 line, but after going forward here was slightly off balance for fence 10. Horse and rider had also a rail down on the last fence 12, which was preceded by a massive combination. Mikael was quite at ease with the mare and plans to jump with Cas also the World Cup. Winnie went only the warm-up and leaves already Saturday eve for Gothenburg. Casandra jumps also on Sunday, but first, of course, there is the excitement of the World Cup. SaturdayNandele placed again on Saturday, placing now 5th in 1m45 against the clock. Mikael was again very satisfied with the mare, which jumped effortlessly the 12 fences and 14 jump course. In the World Cup Mikael retired with Casandra before the last fence. The mare did good and clean effort all the way to 8ab, where the mare got down a rail on the a-part. After this Casandra took rails on 11b and c. Noora told the mare is without a doubt capable enough for this level, but with so many green horses in big classes, the combination of both coming back and jumping forward takes some time to comprehend.
