Our team is jumping this weekend in Hasselt Belgium on a three-star level. Jumping Hasselt is organized for the 14th time and has progressed from a small regional gathering to a well-known international show with a very special atmosphere. Hasselt is located rather close to Guttecoven, so we hope the short drive compensates for a hectic-looking show schedule. Sunday: read our weekend's report. Mikael is jumping with Nandele and Quinault, whereas Vanity and Isaac gets a well-earned opportunity to relax after the big shows. Noora jumps with Atlas, Popcorn and Navarro. Look back for our updates! FridayNoora placed with Navarro after a clean and unhurried opening class. Mikael did a good round with Nandele, but the mare still need more mileage with Mikael to be as relaxed as they hope. SaturdayNoora did a super job with Navarro and they placed 3rd among 68 other horses and riders in 1m45 against the clock. Noora told Nava was great and felt upbeat about the good round. SundayIn Sunday’s Grand Prix Noora decided to withdraw. First a grave mistake and then a following volt prompted Noora to wait for another day with Atlas. Mikko’s Quinault however did well throughout the weekend, but is still not quite there in terms of top form. Noora told that Quinault has difficulties especially in the left turn and due to the weakness easily makes rushed and flat jumps as a result. Mikael placed with nandele. Nandele has made clear progress in the direction that has been worked on. Noora explained that they take now things slowly and will keep the mare on this level for a while. The purpose is to gain strength and confidence on level that is still easy for the mare. In the same time the hope is that the horse would learn to relax and to react in more sensible way also in show conditions.
