On Sunday Stal Forstén-Pentti was faced with a great loss, as one of its absolutely best horses, the 14-year old holsteiner gelding Evli Condino, had to be euthanized at 10.30 on December 23rd.

Evli Condino was first taken to the clinic on Thursday 20th, after its stable behaviour appeared abnormal. The gelding was diagnosed with some type of fat tumour or growth, which had blocked the function of the small intestine.  The gelding underwent surgery in the night and it was successful. However post surgery complications grew severe and despite doing everything humanly possible the gelding was unable to be saved. After consulting with the veterinary surgeons, Noora gave with heavy heart her blessing to end the life of a fabulous sport horse.

Evli Condino was without a doubt one of Noora's best horses. Condino's results included great performances and placings in Toledo, Valkenswaard and Hachnburg Grand Prix. Noora and Condino took further fabulous placings in big international classes in Mechelen, Leipzig and Balve. Evli Condino was a real horse of one's dream, and that is the way Condino will be remembered.
