Rolex FEI World Cup Final 2008

The 2008 edition of the Rolex FEI World Cup Final, from 23 to 27 April in Gothenburg marks the 30th anniversary of a competition that is one of the most prestigious events on the international equestrian calendar. The Final is the culmination of the FEI World Cup. For Mikael and all fellow Finns it's a historical opportunity, as outside the home competition 1998 in Helsinki, this is the first time ever a Finnish rider will be jumping the finals.

Doha CSI5*

Qatar International Horse Show 2008

Qatar is a peninsula located halfway down the west coast of the Arabian Gulf. It enjoys sunshine almost every day of the year. The Qatar leg in Doha is the start to the 2008 Global Champions Tour, with a massive 5, 5 millions in price money. Qatar as an Arabic country, the week starts with Sunday and ends with Saturday; the Doha show goes on from Thursday to Saturday. Doha is a venue with that meets the highest standards is home to the frequently held Arabian horse races and was home to the Asian Games in 2006 > read our report >.

Indoor Brabant

The 41st Indoor Brabant is the final World Cup qualifier for the jumping tour, which ends with the Final on the third weekend of April in Gothenburg, Sweden. The show features the full line-up of top 10 riders in the FEI World Ranking. Indoor Brabant is also the World Cup Dressage Final in the 2007/2008 Dressage World Tour.

De Warre CSI** 2008

Show in Belgium

Noora's and Mikael's weekend will be spent in Belgium. De Warre CSI2 is orqanized in De Warre riding complex, located in Neeroeteren north-east of Limburg, which is only a short drive from Guttecoven. Mikael is jumping with  Vanity, Quinault, Nandele and Carnell, Noora with Atlas, Navarro, Campari and Levisto Son.

Sunday: Mikael won with Quinault, Jessica won with Quidana.

Neeroeteren CSI2* 2008

Noora, Mikael and Maiju is this weekend in Belgium. Neeroeteren CSI2* is organized in the De Warre riding complex, located in Neeroeteren north-east of Limburg, which is only a short drive from Guttecoven. Noora is jumping with Winnie PV, Quinault and a new gelding of hers, 10-year old Vasco (after Bon Ami). Mikael shows Tosca's Lena, Vanity and Calbay, and Maiju Casandra Z and Kennzo de Conte - the latter a horse Maiju brought with her from Finland.

Hasselt CSI3*

Our team is jumping this weekend in Hasselt Belgium on a three-star level. Jumping Hasselt is organized for the 14th time and has progressed from a small regional gathering to a well-known international show with a very special atmosphere. Hasselt is located rather close to Guttecoven, so we hope the short drive compensates for a hectic-looking show schedule.

Vigo CSI-W 2008

Vigo is the second last leg of the current FEI Rolex 2007/2008 World Cup Tour. Vigo in Spain is located at the southern shore of the Ria of Vigo, which is the most magnificent and spectacular ria of Galicia. Vigo is an extensive and populous town in Galica, with approximately 350.000 inhabitants along 12 km of its coast. Vigo is the single most important fishing harbour of Europe, yet this weekend all our focus is on Mikael and jumping.

Sunday: Revenge from the World Cup mishap, Sunday's Grand Prix gave 4th place.
