Bits and pieces from the weekendGuttecoven is never still and this weekend was business as usual. The foremost event was the training show at De Warre to which all riders and a big number of horses went to. From Guttecoven there is also all kind of news, bits and pieces to tell about. Baldini, the young gelding returned from training at 7 Hills Horses and debuted in the De Warre show with Mart. Also returning were Noora's two big boys, Campari and Evli Cagliostro that had been fulfilling their sire'ish "obligations" at the stud-farm. Both stallions are to spend a further 2 weeks at the stud-farm in March. |

Jumping AmsterdamJumping Amsterdam is the name of the Dutch World Cup qualifier. Jumping Amsterdam is the oldest of plenty indoor shows in The Netherlands. Jumping Amsterdam is also the mega-event of equestrian sports, where the FEI World Cup points are decided in no less than 3 different disciplines: jumping, driving and dressage. FEI World CupA new year and a new season kick off with the first FEI World Cup qualifying round for 2007. The Leipzig show is a huge spectacle, with World Cups in both jumping and driving, with top level dressage as a third discipline. Many our sport's brightest stars are competing in Leipzig, spotting names such as Marcus Ehning, Rodrigo Pessoa, Jessica Kürten and Meredith Michaels Beerbaum among the many top competitors on the start lists.
