Stal Forstén-Pentti bought the very promising 2,5 years old stallion Coco Jambo (Contendro I - Contender - Lorenz, holsteiner stamm 1094) during Holsteiner Verbands stallion approval last weekend in Neumunster. Coco Jambo has an exceptional blood line and was on of the most interesting stallions at Neumunster, even thought as the best jumper of all.

The Finnish World Cup Qualifier

The Helsinki International Horse Show is the biggest annual indoor sport event in Finland. During the four day competition in the luxurious Hartwall Areena over 40 000 spectators will enjoy an exciting competition and a fantastic show. The 24th Helsinki International Horse Show features once again a stiff lineup of world's leading riders.

Sunday: Mikael best Finn in the World Cup.

Noora jumps this weekend in Moorsele in Belgium. The show is s tree-star event and the opening for the indoor season. The show has attracted a big number of well-known riders.  Noora jumps with Evli Cagliostro, Navarro and her new gelding, Winnie. Winnie is a 9-year old BWB-horse from sire Sir Major de la Cour.

For the Finnish home crowd’s delight, Mikael will ride in Helsinki instead of Sao Paolo. The final of the prestigious Global Champions Tour was due to be held a week before Helsinki, but after being postponed by a week, now collides with Helsinki International Horse Show. Sao Paolo offered riders 2 million Euros in price money and it has been rumored that a huge 7 millions in total was to be spent on organising the event. Despite the temptations of Sao Paolo, Mikael opted for the World Cup qualifier in Helsinki. HIHS 2008 is held October 16th to 19th on the Hartwall Arena.

Innostavaa, jännittävää ja palkitsevaa

Mikon kilpahevoset keräävät voimia talven maailmacupin osakilpailuihin. Mikko itse vierailee Suomessa useammin kuin vuosiin. Syy on kahdeksanosainen TV-sarja Tallitähdet, joka pyörähti Yle:n kakkosella käyntiin lauantaina 13.9. Ohjelmassa ratsastavat syväharrastajanuoret ohjaavat julkkiksia, jotka eivät aikaisemmin ole ratsastaneet. Jokaisessa jaksossa yksi pari putoaa joukosta pois. Tavoitteena finaaliin pääsevillä julkkiksilla on hypätä Glitnir Helsinki International Horse Showssa rata. Voittaja saa palkinnoksi nuorelle ohjaajalleen oman hevosen ja sille vuoden ylläpidon. Sarjassa Mikolle on kirjoitettu ankaran ratsumestarin rooli.

Noora placed sixth in Arezzo, Italy, where she jumped on Friday a 1m35 two star class with Navarro at the Global Champions Tour event. Noora told her spicy small gelding jumped superbly.

On Saturday horse and rider upped the performance even further, as they placed third in 1m35/1m40 with jump-off.
