This weekend we compete in Podebrady, a town near Prague in the Czech Republic. The show jumping sport in the Czech Republic is going trough a real renaissance period. It has had long tradition, but today it attracts more sponsors and media coverage than ever, which makes it possible to arrange international shows. In 2003 the Check Republic got its four star status for the CSIO Nations Cup, proving the country is back at the top level of the jumping sport. |

This weekend is held the open Benelux championships in The Hague, Holland. The very established international showjumping and dressage event has this year a very special occasion, as it celebrates and honors Her Royal Highness Queen Beatrix and her 25 year of ruling. The pictorial sights of the Munster castle offer the surroundings for the Turnier Sieger, the fifth stage on the prestigious Riders Tour. In M?nster competes the elite of the show jumping's worlds - The German name of the event, "Turnier der Sieger" means "Show of Winners" in English. In the previous year 2004, the German Olympic team with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum in the forefront made its mark in M?nster. Meredith won both the individual competition on Saturday and was one of the ?ko team members, winning the Team competition Sunday. For 2005 it's still all open! |

For the second consecutive week we compete at Stal Tops in Holland's Valkenswaard. This week is the main event, the five-star CSI Valkenswaard. At Valkenswaard riders from 30 different nations competes for glory and victory. A total of 450.000 Euro in price money is on stake, from which 150.000 Euro alone in the Sunday's Valkenswaard GP. There will be an estimated of 35.000 people on location, and further millions of eyes watching this spectacular show from television. Sunday: Mikko and Isaac placed tenth in Valkenswaard GP! |

On Friday Team Forsten-Pentti starts a two consecutive weekends lasting competition at Stal Tops in Holland's Valkenswaard. This weekend is held the two-star Valkenswaard Horse Festival, next weekend starts the world top-3 ranked, five-star CSI Valkenswaard. At Valkenswaard competes riders from 30 different nations, aiming for glory and victory, and not forgetting either a total of 450.000 Euro in price money, 150.000 Euro alone in the Valkenswaard GP. On Wednesday the team heads for Gera, where it's time again for next Riders Tour -leg. The fourth stage of the Riders Tour lies in the middle of Germany's Th?ringen. The equestrian stadium in Gera-Milbitz has acquired a legendary reputation over the years. No other show has such a unique layout. Two years ago the grounds were thoroughly redeveloped under the direction of course specialist John Weier. Gera today is not only an international horse show, but also a festival for the whole family. In 2004 Marcus Ehning was the star. He won the team competition on Saturday with the Sony Ericsson-Team and on Sunday he won also the individual competition. Who will be the hero in 2005? |
