World Cup trio in BelgiumThe traditional Memorial Eric Wauters runs on its 28th year from 26 to 30 December 2008. A big horsy gathering for lord and farmer has during a quarter of a century developed into one of the absolute leading equestrian events in Europe. The show is also a World Cup qualifier in jumping, dressage and driving. Both Noora and Mikael participates in Mechelen the CSI3* category, with a small possibility to qualify for the World Cup. Olympia - The London International Horse Show Olympia or the London International Horse Show is a 101-year old legend, in fact the first international equestrian event in the equestrian nation, England. The stakes are high also in terms of money. There is huge price money in the show, divided foremost among the top athletes in jumping and dressage, the both disciplines that London features on World Cup level. FEI ROLEX World CupMikael competes this weekend in Geneva, which is considered one of the leading indoor events in the world. The show is arranged again in the magnificent PalExpo arena, which is also nominated the host for the year 2010 FEI World Cup final. Mikael competes with his two horses Isaac du Jonquet and Skybreaker. FEI World Cup: Mikael and Isac placed 13th and scored 4 WC-points. |

Noora, Mikael and Maiju is this weekend in Belgium. Neeroeteren CSI2* is organized in the De Warre riding complex, located in Neeroeteren north-east of Limburg, which is only a short drive from Guttecoven. Noora is jumping with Winnie PV, Quinault and a new gelding of hers, 10-year old Vasco (after Bon Ami). Mikael shows Tosca's Lena, Vanity and Calbay, and Maiju Casandra Z and Kennzo de Conte - the latter a horse Maiju brought with her from Finland. A very good weekend; read our report. |
